As Giving Day comes to a close, we want to thank you for the strong support for the Land Trust of Danbury and the Northern Fairfield Land Trust Coalition.
All six land trusts of the Northern Fairfield Land Trust Coalition are volunteer-based with a very small staff.
With such limited manpower, this makes basic operations such as: fundraising, community outreach, stewardship and efforts toward Land Trust Alliance accreditation, particularly challenging.
Every dollar given during Giving Day will allow us to continue our important work while also helping each land trust get the visibility it deserves.
The funds raised during this challenge will be used towards our shared services program. By pooling resources, the land trusts will work together to become stronger, both individually and collectively.
