Botanical Drawing Class II

IMPORTANT UPDATE 
Due to inclement weather, our Botanical Drawing Class has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 4th from 11am-12pm at Komlo Preserve (weather permitting) or New Fairfield Senior Center (if raining). Komlo Preserve (130 CT-37) and New Fairfield Senior Center (33 CT-37) are located near each other on CT-37 in New Fairfield’s town center.

Komlo Preserve (130 CT-37) and New Fairfield Senior Center (33 CT-37) are located near each other on CT-37 in New Fairfield’s town center.Due to the popularity of our first event, we are offering a second opportunity to learn to connect with the natural world through art.
Conservation Biologist and Natural Science illustrator, Laura Cunningham will conduct a plein air botanical drawing class at Komlo Preserve on Saturday, October 14 2023 from 11AM-12PM. She has a masters in Conservation Biology with a specialty in plant science and is currently enrolled in Rhode Island School of Design’s Natural Science Illustration Certification Program. No previous experience is necessary as Laura will be teaching the basics of Botanical Illustration. The emphasis will be on learning to observe and draw what you see.
